Constructed of 1-5/8-inch Chromoly tubing for high strength and light weight, and powder coated for durability.
Some drilling IS required: the Watson S550 (2015+) chute bumper bolts on in place of the factory bumper beam using the 2 OEM bolts per side, which IS NOT strong enough to sustain repeated abuse from parachute deployment. We add 4 additional bolts per side that connect the bumper directly to the frame rails under the car – that’s 12 bolts holding this to the car!
Use with Watson Racing’s S550 MUSTANG parachute mount bracket, p/n WR-PARACHUTEMNT. We can assist with parachutes and release cables as well, just call.
