Velgen VF5 Wheels
The Velgen VF5 wheels are highly preferred by customers in our Lightweight Series of wheels, serving as a successor to our popular VMB5 wheels. While the overall framework of the VF5 closely resembles the VMB5, the spokes have been redesigned and thinned out to achieve a more aggressive appearance. Sporting a split-spoke design, the VF5 boasts a total of 10 thin spokes grouped in pairs, creating a sporty yet contemporary aesthetic. The stepped spokes on this wheel follow a concave style that extends to the edge of the wheel's face, resulting in a visually striking and performance-oriented look.
The concave profile of the VF5 starts with a mild concavity on the 19x9.5 wheels and becomes more pronounced as the wheel width increases. To complete the overall design, the VF5 is equipped with a meticulously crafted Velgen center cap that matches the color of your specific wheel. With a wide range of sizes, including various finishes, the VF5 is an exceptional choice for enhancing the appearance of any vehicle. It is available in a vast assortment of designs, colors, offsets, depths, widths, and sizes.
Velgen VF5 Wheels are offered in Gloss Black, Gloss Black Sparkle, Gloss Gunmetal, Gloss Bronze, Gloss Silver, Brushed Titanium, and Satin Black.

Velgen's Flow Form Technology
Flow Form technology is a manufacturing process Velgen uses in the production of its wheels, which involves the combination of low-pressure casting and flow-forming techniques to create high-quality, lightweight, and durable wheels.
The process begins with the casting of the wheel using low-pressure casting. This involves pouring molten aluminum into a mold under low pressure. This method ensures a dense and consistent casting with minimal porosity, resulting in a strong and reliable wheel.
After the casting is complete, the wheel undergoes a secondary process called flow forming. This process involves the application of high pressure and heat to the barrel of the wheel while it is being rotated. This pressure and heat cause the aluminum to flow and stretch, resulting in a thinner and lighter barrel. The stretching of the aluminum also enhances the structural integrity of the wheel, making it more resistant to impact and bending.
The combination of low-pressure casting and flow forming in the Flow Form technology allows Velgen wheels to have a unique balance of strength and weight. The wheels are lighter than traditional cast wheels, which improves overall vehicle performance by reducing unsprung weight. This leads to improved acceleration, braking, and handling.
Additionally, the Flow Form technology used in making Velgen wheels allows for precise control over the design and dimensions of the wheels. This means that the wheels can be customized to fit specific vehicle applications, ensuring proper fitment and optimal performance.
