BMR Suspension designed the MTA001 for street performance, drag race, and handling applications. The strong, yet lightweight design eliminates torque arm deflection, allowing power to transfer more efficiently to the tires. The torque arm allows for on-car pinion angle adjustability. The heavy-duty Chrome-moly adjuster in the torque arm allows for on-car fine-tuning of pinion angle. The torque arm mounts in the factory mount with a 95-durometer polyurethane bushing. This transfers power efficiently, without huge increases in NVH.
BMR’s MTA001 comes with a new, 95-durometer polyurethane front mounting bushing. This bushing fits 1982-2002 V8 F-Body ('82-'84 requires purchase of '85 or newer torque arm "clamshell" mount). Also fits all V6 F-body with one-piece drive shafts. Torque arm hardware kit RH001 is highly recommended.
