It's a 3" pipe that is mandrel bent with an h-pipe design to provide maximum performance and limited back pressure in the exhaust system -- which means actual horsepower gains without a tune and a performance sound without being obnoxious.
At idle and start-up the C8 definitely has a nice, deep full exhaust presence and note that is not overwhelming.
