The pulley ring that drives the supercharger measures 7.950" (+10%) for part number 827, and 8.130" (+15%) for part number 828. This additional size provides an approximate gain of 3-4 lbs of boost for the +10% unit and 4-5 lbs for the +15% unit. A new heavy-duty balancer bolt is included. This overdrive balancers work exceptionally well with our 2.60" supercharger pulley and auxiliary idler kit, also listed in this section.
Note 1: A longer supercharger belt is needed when installing this overdrive balancer. The Gates K100852 (or equivalent) is recommended for use with the +10% balancer.
Note 2: Some filing of the casting on the front cover is necessary to provide clearance to allow for the larger diameter of these balancers.
