Metco Upper & Lower Control Arm Kit Extended (94-96 Impala SS) MCA0002

This Metco Motorsports high performance upper and lower control arm kit is specifically designed for the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice and Impala SS. The length of the four arms in this kit has been optimized (0.75" has been added to the center-to-center length) to properly center the rear wheel within the wheel well, solving the problem from the factory of the wheel being positioned too far forward. Correcting the wheel position within the wheel well also improves tire clearance for owners wishing to upgrade their wheels and tires or lower their vehicles.

Like all Metco control arms, these arms are CNC-machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum for unsurpassed strength and precision-fit, and the aluminum is clear-anodized for long-lasting surface protection. The double-adjustable upper arms are pre-set to the optimum length and are ready for installation right out of the box. The factory pinion angle remains unchanged, and the car's original driveshaft can be re-used in most applications.

These control arms can be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arms, but also offer the benefits of the dramatically stronger billet design and Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane bushings. Each bushing has a grease fitting for long term, noise-free service. The lower arms are machined to accept the factory rear sway bar (or aftermarket equivalent) and require no modifications to the vehicle for installation. The design of the upper arms offers adjustability, improved strength and responsiveness, and much-needed clearance for exhaust pipes over the axle in lowered vehicles or vehicles fitted with high-performance exhaust systems.
