Mantic Clutch (USA) has released new clutch kits for the 1996-2010 Ford Mustang with 4.6L engine, capable of handling up to 607 and 1000 ft-lbs. of torque at the crank.
Mantic's new twin disc clutch kits for the 4.6L Mustang include a billet Aluminum cover for additional strength and durability, your choice of friction material and release bearing. This kit is for the 8 Bolt crank with 10 Spline and has a Hydraulic Release Bearing and premium Ceremetalic Friction Material.
The disc options are either premium organic (607 ft-lbs) or cerametalic (1000 ft-lbs) friction materials. Both options deliver smooth drivability with a light pedal effort that is much like the OE clutch. These Mantic Clutch kits feature spring hubs and spring intermediate plates to help eliminate noise at idle. These kits include a lightened flywheel for further reduction in the moment of inertia.
Mantic clutch kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and are rated to hold up to 1010 ft.-lbs. of torque at the crank. Triple disc clutch kits also meets SFI Spec 1.1 and is rated to hold up to 1515 ft-lbs. of torque at the crank.
