The JPC S550 powerglide package is the easiest and quickest way to get powerglide in your S550 chassis. This package is setup to work with any modular or coyote based engine. Here at JPC we try to take the guess work out of transmission swaps by offering complete swap packages.

This package is ideal for a car making around 1000rwhp. It comes with a durable Proline 2500 powerglide transmission which includes the following -

Some hardware may be required. Some massaging of the transmission tunnel is necessary for install. Converter will need to be shimmed at least .150" out of the pump, have a professional install if your unsure how to shim the converter. Allow for 3-5 week ship time on these orders as the driveshafts are made on a custom basis. Transmission is a STOCK CASE transmission, pictured above is a SFI case. See Stage 2 for a package with an SFI case.
