Eaton Aeroquip's proprietary AQP (elastomer) core fuel hose with flat black Kevlar and Nomex external reinforcing braid. Compatible with all automotive fluids and fuels, including all race fuels, methanol, and ethanol. Easiest to install and repair due to the lack of stainless reinforcement. AQP elastomer is permeable by automotive fluids, so expect fluid smell from the hose. (higher alcohol content fuels will permeate more aggressively) Expect 5-7 year service life (dependent of fluids used and conditions) Elastomer construction will not contribute to vehicle NVH.
