Depending on pump arrangement, lower assembly may be larger than tank opening. Partial disassembly must be accomplished in order to install in fuel tank
Fore Innovations Corvette C7 fuel pump module provides low pressure fuel up to 1000 rwhp with dual fuel pumps (recommended to run one pump full time, then activate secondary pump under load). Supplies High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) and auxiliary port injection or wet nitrous. Includes in-tank supply system that retains OE transfer, fuel level senders, and EVAP functionality. Requires upgraded feed and return lines, high capacity filtration and check valve, flow through t-block direct mounted on HPFP inlet tube, high capacity fuel pressure regulator.
Dual regulators is suggested to maximize output (adds ~100 whp on E85 with dual pumps)
Becomes E85 capable by choosing F90000267, F90000274, F90000285 fuel pumps.
This fuel system will allow fuel to vaporize at the HPFP inlet and places the HPFP at risk for starting dry. Fore Innovations recommends an axillary prime method be implemented to ensure liquid fuel (not vapor) is supplied to pump before engine start. We offer an optional prime button and time; however, we have found that some installers/owners prefer the prime function be assigned to the brake pedal or clutch pedal.
This is part of a stand alone fuel system. Professional installation and a custom tune is required. Qualified installers must be able to interface to the OE harness and FPDM/FPCM, understand proper component placement, hose routing, and deliver the vehicle with factory-like pump prime/on/off logic with no error codes. Fore Innovations will supply basic system schematics and detailed component level instructions, and can provide troubleshooting of the performance and function of our system and components; however, the tuner and installer are responsible for PCM integration and tuning.
This fuel system generates substantially more heat and capacity than the original fuel system. The high powered fuel pumps make much more heat than the factory pump and the composite fuel tank construction acts as an insulator and stores heat. Additionally, the shape of the factory fuel tank limits the pickup capacity of this fuel system. The user (driver) must keep more fuel (than normal) in the tank to minimize heat damage.
