Inside Look: Li Racing Fuel Pump Kits

Li Racing is known in the drag racing world for custom tuning the F1510 5.0L and S197 /S550 Mustangs, especially the Forced Induction builds. Proper tuning requires adequate fuel for more power and engine longevity. Recognizing the need for a better setup, Li Racing produced its own twin and triple pump systems featuring a billet hat instead of the factory plastic unit.
Twin and Triple pumps kits are available for all Coyote 5.0L powered Mustangs and F150 trucks. The Twin Pumps will support 1000+HP while the Triple Pumps will support 1500+ HP. Each of these complete systems will work best for any supercharger or turbo setup.
At the center of these proven fuel kits is the billet center hat. Considered to be the most reliable on the market due to the O-Ring sealed pass thru connector. This type of seal is ideal when using corrosive race fuels and E85.

Maintaining proper fuel pressure is important for high rpm use at the track. If your build is a serious street or strip car, choose the Li-Racing Triple pump, this offers a nice back up plan if needed.
Upon closer inspection, its easy to see why the billet fuel hat is the premium most reliable choice over the stock factory unit. No epoxy connections here, proven o-rings last longer and hold up better over time to race fuels.
One of our biggest problems with competitors fuels systems is they require splicing of the factory harness to upgrade the fuel system. Li Racing is now sending all billet fuel hats with the ability to use the factory connector, no cutting, no splicing of the factory harness. This is a huge benefit for a cleaner install and of course its saves time. New billet fuel hat design is also uses O ring sealed connections and not epoxied like the competition, less chances of fuel leaks from epoxy breaking down over time.
