This throttle body was designed as an NHRA legal replacement for the Chevy COPO Camaro Super Stock drag cars. The flow ratings are more than the 4150, but less than the 4500 (per NHRA restrictions). There is no provision for an IAC so it is not specifically recommended for street use.

If you would like to switch from a carburetor intake to electronic fuel injection (EFI), Accufab has developed a high flow throttle body to meet your needs.

Better Air Flow for More Power. The Accufab 4500-2 has four 2? brass throttle plates, with no provision for the idle air control.

This style uses a late model GM TPS, included. Also, this throttle body has progressive linkage.
