Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the Manual and Automatic Transmission 2007-2008 4.6L 3V Mustang GT, featuring the NOVI 1200SL centrifugal supercharger (Standard Output), or NOVI 2200SL (High Output) centrifugal supercharger with air-to-air charge cooler.
The S197 Mustang GT systems utilize the current line of ultra-efficient Paxton NOVI compressors. Continual development in our test lab resulted in this and other high-efficiency models, which reach a peak adiabatic efficiency of 76%-78% (SAE J1723 standard). The efficiency of the 2200SL with its patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage, this supercharger literally blows away the competition. High efficiency equates to less heat being generated, a reduction in power required to drive the compressor, and more net power being produced as a result. Less heat also means better durability. All NOVI SL Series Superchargers have a self-contained lubrication system that makes installation fast and easy.
